Coaching for Highly Sensitive People

If you’ve landed on this page, I’m guessing it’s because you already identify as a Highly Sensitive Person (or, you have an inkling that you might be).

First of all, I want you to know that you are not alone! In fact, you’re in great company with an estimated 15-20% of the population. This makes us unique, with qualities such as; enhanced creativity, the ability to create deep connections, and a keen sense of awareness. But, as with everything in life, for every light there is a shadow…

As a highly sensitive person, we have a propensity to easily become overwhelmed with the emotional, sensory, and social aspects of life. What’s ‘normal’ for someone else, might feel too much, too hard, too draining for us, and so we beat ourselves up, wishing we were different, hiding our sensitivity and pushing against our inner knowing.

But, what if, instead of seeing this trait as a hardship or a hindrance, we can learn to lean into the benefits of our unique skillset, and set ourselves up in a way that honours our need to think, feel, and rest more deeply than others. What if instead of seeing your sensitivity as a flaw, you began to embrace this part of yourself as your greatest strength?

If you’re struggling with your sensitivity and wondering how you can ever thrive in a world that expects us to be; always on, always striving, always pushing against ourselves, reach out to schedule a FREE 20-minute chemistry call so that we can discuss how we could work together. Whether it’s related to your career goals, personal goals or general wellbeing, I know first hand how it feels to resent your sensitivity but, the more that I’ve learned to authentically embrace this part of myself, the more I’ve been able to honour the beauty in our deep feeling ways.

Did you know? Most corporate companies offer personal or professional development allowance / reimbursement. Reach out to your HR team to see if they can help to fund your coaching journey. According to an ICF Survey, 93% of companies would hire a coach again and were on the whole (and in the words of one company), 'delighted, a very positive experience and far exceeded expectations' with the coaching experience.

Oh no love, you are not alone, no matter what or who you’ve been, no matter when or where you’ve seen, all the knives seem to lacerate your brain, I’ve had my share, I’ll help you with the pain. You’re not alone!
